Music & Worship

The Federated Church believes in worshipping God wholeheartedly. Children 3 years of age through 6th grade will learn to sing as part of the AWANA ministry and teens are active in the Journey worship band. The Adult Choir holds rehearsals on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 5 pm. We are also believe in using our instruments to praise God, and our Praise Band and Worship Teams rehearse and minister throughout the month.

Men’s Ministries

Federated men are actively serving the Lord with their hands, first in prayer with prayer breakfasts and second in small group Bible studies. Then they put their hands together in weekly work on the church property and at the WLD Ranch, and in various mission endeavors in the community (annual Outdoor Expo and Men’s retreat) and throughout the world (various “work” mission trips.)

The AWANA Club meets every Sunday at 5:00 pm for ages 3 to Grade 6. This is a fun-filled evening of team games, Bible memory, snacks, lessons and music.

Adult Ministries

The Federated Church offers spiritual growth for Adult Singles (all ages) meeting on the 1st and 3rd Monday and for Senior Adults (55+) meeting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday in the Springfield Senior Center.

Small home groups are also offered as well as a variety of adult Sunday School classes that meet every Sunday at 10:00 AM.

Women’s Ministries

Federated women are committed to service to the church and community through luncheons, retreats, monthly coffee houses, ministry to mothers of preschoolers (TOTS), and a funeral lunch ministry to grieving families. Our women also use their skills in the Tabitha Team Sewing Ministry for missionaries and senior citizens.

Federated Preschool

The purpose of the Federated Church Preschool program is to show Christ’s love to children in our community by teaching them the knowledge and skills to lead a successful Christian and academic life. The preschool meets five days a week.

Students After School Learning Truth is an after-school program for 2nd – 5th graders. It is an opportunity for students to come every Thursday after school to learn “Truth” from the Bible in an exciting setting.

WLD Ranch

The Wayne Leonard Davis (WLD) Ranch was founded in memory of a young man who had dedicated his life to serving God. Located in Fairview, PA it is a working ranch with 30 horses. The horses are an important part of summer camp, as well as the year-round retreat ministry. The bunkhouses offer year-round housing for up to 180 people. The Longhorn Lodge has a spacious dining hall with an adjacent fellowship hall.

Visit the WLD Ranch website for full details!

The Federated Church is deeply committed to missionary outreach. We are honored to support over 50 missionaries and organizations around the world. In addition, we sponsor qualified young people for our Summer Missions Program and we send our pastors and members on missions trips to keep expanding our vision for reaching the whole world with the Gospel. Through our Mission Vision 2020 program, we are asking the Lord to help us increase our short-term mission trips, and support more missionaries especially in the most unreached parts of the world.

We as a church are committed to both global and local outreach. We also believe that evangelism takes place best in a relational atmosphere. So throughout the year we intentionally offer events where members are encouraged to bring their friends where they can meet other believers and hear a creative introduction to the Gospel message.

What is Celebrate Recovery?

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step program where people gain freedom, healing, and accountability for life’s “hurts, habits, and hang-ups.” By applying the 8 Recovery Principles within the 12-step program, we open ourselves up to God’s grace and we can break free. We also open the door to recovery by sharing our experiences and hopes with one another.

Celebrate Recovery is open to men and women ages 18 and up. CR is not just for people struggling with substance abuse. CR is for anyone who desires to have victory over any type of stronghold of sin, anyone who has a “hurt, habit, or hangup.”
